A new store with a familiar look.
To first time customers, Santa Clarita Camera may look like
a new business, but for the photographers in the area it's like an
old friend.
Mike Lahman has worked for Valencia Camera for the past nine years.
With that store's owner wanting to retire, Mike, along with the
support of his family and friends has opened his own store, "Santa
Clarita Camera". Mike has worked in the photography industry since
he was a junior at Canoga Park High. Always the one to take pictures
at family events, Mike's love of photography grew to the point that
if he wasn't working behind the counter, he was either out taking
pictures, or working in the darkroom.
Through much of the 70's Mike concentrated on Concert and Wildlife
photography. Mike has worked for some of the biggest stores in the
Los Angeles area, but he has never lost the commitment of Customer
service. At Santa Clarita Camera you will find the latest in digital
cameras. From the most basic of "Point & Shoots", to a full
selection of SLR's Santa Clarita Camera carries the most complete
selection of Canon and Nikon, cameras, lenses, flashes, and
accessories you'll find in the SCV. If you're looking for the right
case to carry and protect your equipment, we've got it. From a large
selection of Tamrac Bags, we also stock Pelican hard cases. Need a
tripod? Santa Clarita Camera has the biggest choice of quality
tripods from Manfrotto and Slik. For the students, we still have the
best stock of B&W photo papers and film as well as mounting and
storage supplies. Still shooting film? We keep in stock and
refrigerated, pro films from both Fuji and Kodak.
If you have an older camera that needs service we can handle that as
well. Repairs can be expensive so we'll give you an upfront
estimate. Santa Clarita Camera's main philosophy is to best match
the equipment for each customer's individual needs. Mike's knowledge
